Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer (Remote)
Job Description
Intel is searching for an Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer to be part of Intel's root of trust organization. This is a critical and fast paced position to support business growth by ensuring that day-to-day operations need such as generation and delivery of digital certificates for various intel products, interacting with various Intel product engineering groups to help trouble shoot to meet timelines, mitigate risks, and minimize disruption.
In this role, responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Drive the development of security capabilities within the security industry and Intel.
- Participate and/or lead operational and analytical configurations of Public Cloud Services.
- May be engaged in other information security or risk management projects.
- Requires thorough knowledge of security practices, procedures, and capabilities to perform nonrepetitive, analytical work.
- Lead or contribute to security risk assessments which determine threats, consequences, and vulnerabilities to business unit key assets, products, and services.
- Participate in the planning and direction of security risk assessments to examine and verify security capabilities, behaviors, and controls for authentication, authorization, integrity, availability, assurance, audit, and disposal of Intel's information assets to determine exposure and compliance levels.
- Create designs/technical specifications that align business needs with technical solutions while considering emerging security technologies.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Qualifications:
- Must have 2+ years of experience with fast paced production operations engineering.
- 1+ years of experience of applying information security principles or risk management practices to production operations.
- 1 + years in DevOps and infrastructure.
- Basic understanding of Public Cloud Vendor (AWS, Azure, or Google).
- Running / Sustaining services (Triaging issues, documentations etc.).
- Excellent Communicator/Team Fit.
- Familiar with CI/CD concept.
Preferred Certifications:
- Cloud Certification(s) from Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google or Cloud Security Alliance.
- Other valid certifications include SANS Institute, CompTIA, (ISC)2, and Cisco covering information security principles such as GSEC, Security+, Network+, CISSP, CCNA, or OSCP, Lean Six Signa Green Belt / Black Belt certifications.

Intel Product Assurance and Security (IPAS) is responsible for implementing and operationalizing proactive security and risk-prioritized measures for all of Intel's products. IPAS is also chartered with understanding the next generation of security threats and technologies, while guiding future research and architecture decisions to secure Intel's platforms while fostering a security first culture into Intel's product development and strategic practices.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$84,060.00-$126,320.00

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
