This position is responsible for defining and managing the complex technical architecture of Allegion's enterprise web presence and the identifying and delivering on innovative technical solutions to global problems. The Senior Architect will approach problems with a mindset for balancing agile delivery of business objectives with long term stability, scalability, reusability, technical feasibility, and global applicability of the overall architecture. Primarily the Architect will be responsible for the design, development, and advisement of technical solutions. Because of the close interaction with business customers and supporting IT teams, the Senior Architect will require a deep understanding of requirements analysis, project planning and testing support.

This role will help to build out our #martech stack with a technical lens and partner with cross functional teams to align to business outcomes with the enterprise. This space is in constant change and it is important to best leverage our tool suites today for Allegion's many brands

What You Will Do:

• Design or lead other architects/tech leads in designing enterprise quality solution architectures with a mindset for balancing agile delivery of business objectives with long term stability, scalability, reusability, technical feasibility, and global applicability (balance speed vs. cost vs. quality)
• Design or lead other architects/tech leads in designing interactions between systems to ensure reliable, fault-tolerant integrations using standard methodologies across the enterprise
• Develop technical strategies that can be consistently applied across the enterprise
• Develop and maintain enterprise standards for application and technical ecosystem architecture.
• Identify technical risk in projects and develop strategies to alleviate it
• Communicate technical architecture direction and how it relates to business objectives to all levels of the organization through documentation, training, and awareness.
• Advocate for the implementation and utilization of best practices across the enterprise
• Support innovation thru creative application of software and hardware architecture, design, and development
• Analyze existing business processes and software then recommend and design improvements
• Develop specified application components or enhancements, as needed
• Be comfortable delivering technical solutions for projects leveraging agile project management methodologies
• Work with the IT team, business functions, external vendors, and contract resources to deliver project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Be able to communicate effectively in business terms and technical terms as appropriate
• Help to clarify, identify, and track requirements and project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required
• Limited travel is required

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or Information Technology related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in the design, development, implementation, and integration of enterprise applications
• Technical product ownership of Adobe stack, WordPress stack, and integrations handoffs with systems
