About the job

This position is needed to build real time analytical insights solutions for Twilio customer data. These solutions are consumed by multiple products for different business needs at Twilio. These would address the unique needs of larger enterprises building data insights and customer experience. .

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

• Build an enterprise grade platform which helps enterprise customers to build, operate and manage Twilio solutions across departments. 
• Own and create intuitive, fluent and responsive user interfaces. Build fast-rendering reusable and extendable front-end components using React.
• Build a reliable, compliant and trusted customer engagement platform which will operate in a highly scalable distributed production environment.
• Collaborate with the talented global team including the product manager to design and review the solutions to deliver a great front end Enterprise experience our customers will love.

Required:

• 5+ years of proven experience developing highly-available web applications using frameworks such as React 
• 2+ years of experience developing Restful APIs
• 3+ years of experience as UI Developer
• Extensive Javascript experience, and experience in TypeScript, React, Node, Express, Cypress, HTML and CSS
• Experience in Relational databases (MySql, Postgres, AWS Aurora)
• Understanding and experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong communication skills and desire to make an impact and thrive in small, collaborative, energetic teams
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Successful track record of delivering and maintaining reliable, scalable, traceable and performant distributed systems to customers in a production cloud environment

Desired:

• Experience with:
• Java with experience in multi-threaded programming
• Agile development and is comfortable decomposing complex problem statements
• Production experience with AWS, GCP or other public cloud infrastructure platforms to own and operate services
• Data visualization experience and familiarity with different charting libraries
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - You are confident in writing down and presenting your designs and decisions throughout the development lifecycle. You are also comfortable providing and receiving feedback in an Agile environment 

Location 

This role will be based Remote - Colombia office.
