Technology is at the heart of Liberis’ growth and as part of the Innovation Team you will have a big part to play in achieving our mission: To give every business access to funding. In doing so we strive to be the best in class, not only in how we achieve our mission technologically, but also in providing our customers and partners an optimal user journey and integration experience.
We are serious about Scrum, continuous deployment and continuous integration. Insights gained for real customer experiences help us continuously improve their online experience and optimize our partner integrations.

You are equally at home working with stakeholders, developing proofs of concepts or coaching the team to solve challenges in new and interesting ways. Leading by example comes naturally, motivating your team to keep up with your pace and solution-oriented approach.

We think you'll need?

• Experience leading a development team on successful roadmap deliveries
• Ability to work closely with stakeholders and other teams around the business to drive out underlying requirements and desires
• Experience developing prototypes and instrumented MVPs to enable validated learning.
• A strong understanding of modern, commercial software design patterns and practices
• An awareness of cutting edge and emerging technologies and a desire to keep up to date with trends
• Excellent communicator & fluent in English
• Working experience with TypeScript, AngularJS/React, Node.js, C#, Azure
• Experience in Agile development methodologies (XP, Scrum and Kanban)
• Understanding of event-driven architectures using messaging systems such as RabbitMQ
• Experience building cloud-native solutions, ideally on Microsoft Azure cloud.

What will you be doing here?

• Leading and motivating a team of innovative developers responsible for building prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs) to enable learning and testing hypotheses which will contribute to Liberis’ strategic business and technology roadmaps.
• Hands on development as the need arises.
• Contribute to architectural governance to ensure efficiency, scalability and security
• Act as mentor and guide to the engineers in your team, setting an example not only in work ethic but a desire to create the next generation of business and technology capabilities for Liberis.
• Working closely with the Heads of Architecture and Engineering as well as peers to continuously improve the delivery pipeline
• Recruitment in your team and supporting recruitment in other engineering team
