Donaldson is searching for a dynamic Engineering Supervisor to Lead the Engine Air PowerCore development team. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic leader.

Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned as needed):

Supervisory Leadership:

• Keep list of active and pending projects up to date
• Keep priority of project up to date and understood within group
• Identify and acquire resources required for team to accomplish objectives
• Assign project and task responsibilities to individuals in team
• Develop expectations and development plans for individuals in team
• Motivate and mentor team members as needed to ensure that they are delivering on the projects they are leading.
• Communicate status of projects to management in an organized, succinct, and professional manner as needed or requested
• Develop and implement new ideas for improving the work of the team.

Technical Leadership: Build technical knowledge of product within team

• Understand our product's performance, durability, manufacturing methods, and cost
• Understand market and customers for product
• Understand applications which use product
• Understand competitive products and their performance
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations regarding product to customers

Project Leadership: Deliver on projects that you are directly leading

• Keep APD projects on schedule
• Build and lead effective project team
• Utilize APD tools correctly
• Communicate project information clearly and broadly
• Provide an example of quality project management for others in the group

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• 4 - plus years in the design and development of technology or products.
• Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to influence people within all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with highly detailed information.
• Strong systems aptitude.
• Project Management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Donaldson's filter technology
• Extensive industry knowledge
