As a DRAM Engineering Group (DEG) Design for Test (DFT) Design Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for creating, defining, documenting and communicating circuit design solutions that enable DRAM testing efficiency, consistency and quality. This will require direct and frequent communication with worldwide groups such as Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly, and Marketing. You will also be responsible for designing and analyzing digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products. This includes simulating, optimizing, and verifying DRAM circuits.
Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Work with worldwide marketing, probe, assembly, test, process integration, CAD, verification engineering and product engineering groups to ensure proper testing and manufacturability of product
• Work closely with design and product engineering to ensure that test mode definitions and documentation are clearly written and complete
• Design, standardize, and document test methods and modes to facilitate common test flows and coverage on all designs
• Ensure that new technologies include the needed test mode designs to allow for full fail coverage testing
• Perform circuit simulations using standard industry simulators
• Participate in new circuit conception and design as needed
• Responsible for reliability verification of designed circuits
• Assist in silicon design validation, reticle experiments, and tape-out revisions as needed
• Assist verification engineering with test mode verification plans

Successful Candidates for this position will have:

• Good understanding of digital and analog circuit concepts
• Deep knowledge of CMOS device physics
• Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Interested and motivated to work as an engineer on sophisticated circuits
• Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with colleagues
• Experience handling multiple tasks while meeting project deadlines

Helpful additional specific knowledge:

• Understanding of DRAM architecture and testing methodologies
• Experience with a scripting language such as Perl or Python
• Familiarity with analog and digital simulators such as HSPICE and Verilog
• Familiarity with Verilog coding and simulation
• Familiarity with Linux/UNIX

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree of Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3+ years' experience
