As a DevOps Consulting Manager at Ensono, we will expect you to be playing a leadership role and spending most of your time leading the DevOps aspects of an agile delivery team on an exciting project helping that client to realize the business benefit of an investment into the cloud.
About the role and what you'll be doing:
Our Technical Managers are hands-on and responsible for defining and creating the DevOps strategy for projects, designing, and architecting across systems, and influencing the success of the project.
You will work closely with senior technical people from the client, navigating through complex stakeholder relationships, guiding architectural and technical decisions, as well as coaching and mentoring members of the project team.
You will be a self-starter, and proactive in your project work and your career, continuously looking for ways to add value, improve and guide your community and Ensono.
You will be in a leadership position working across the SDLC on large, complex and scalable projects with high volume and high availability microservices.

Required Qualifications
Experience with -

• designing and implementing platform architecture across systems, using the most appropriate cloud-based services/platform with a deep understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of different enterprise environments
• working with two or more cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure and GCP
• defining infrastructure, operations, security architecture or DevOps strategy
• extending and enhancing the DevOps toolchain (i.e. Terraform, Kubernetes)
• debugging applications in Java, C#, and NodeJS

• implementing an infrastructure code testing framework (terratest, test-kitchen, inspec)
• designing and implementing advanced application routing path incorporating CDN, private/public traffic paths, end-to-end https, load balancer, ingress controller and service mesh

Preferred Qualifications

• Great communication skills, in particular: presenting, collaborating and partnering with stakeholders
• Ability to assuredly provide direction to your team, resolve issues and being responsible for outcomes

• Ability to create a collaborative team environment where everyone's opinion is heard, but knowing when to push, back down, or escalate
