Responsibilities:

Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met.

Duties:

Will be responsible for software development of cyber, AI and embedded crypto solutions developing with C/C++, Java & Python programming languages. Will be conducting Systems research & design, Agile development and team focused programming on both contract and internal research projects.

The ideal candidate has the potential beyond the Cryptographic focus

to move into other projects that focus on areas of AI/ML advanced algorithms and distributed & edge processing solutions.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Software Development experience with a bachelor's degree or 6 years of Software Development experience without a degree.
  • Experience developing with C.
  • Must be clearable and have the ability to obtain a security clearance up to level TS/SCI.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A current and active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Experience developing with C++/Java/Python.
  • Experience with embedded development.

Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to basepay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO)for vacation and/orpersonal business.
