We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our Platform Infrastructure team, reporting into our Head of Engineering. 

In this role, you will work within our CommureOS team to help shape the future of how our customers use the Commure platform, understanding their needs, and working with our Engineering, Product and Security teams to develop new products and use cases for the future. 

You will also be a key member of the Platform Infrastructure team responsible for enhancing the development experience of our software engineers, and committing to high availability and resiliency across our platform products.

Within your first 30 days at Commure, you will:

• Complete first month onboarding activities and meet stakeholders across the organization for introductions and relationship building
• Begin understanding the scope, responsibilities, and expectations of the role to provide a clear understanding of career growth opportunities
• Understand our working culture and align on how it contributes to company growth 
• Build a picture of our multi-cloud product vision
• Commit changes to our platform infrastructure repo 

At the 60 day mark, we’ll work as a team to provide you the space to:

• Focus on ownership, collaboration, and execution on your projects, deliverables, and company goals
• Provide suggestions and solutions to existing challenges within your team to help Commure collectively grow through feedback and iteration
• Be recognized as an avid contributor of our team
• Ensure our products’ reliability is up to industry standards

Crossing into 90 days, you’ll have become a trusted partner and begin to:

• Deliver on company goals while working collaboratively and autonomously with internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to team quarterly planning
• Understand our platform infrastructure architecture
• Gain specific healthcare domain knowledge

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in the field
• Validated experience on provisioning infra as code with Terraform, in one of the largest cloud vendors (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Relevant knowledge on configuring and running Kubernetes infrastructure in development and production environments
• Experience with operating and troubleshooting multiple production systems infrastructure (telemetry, monitoring, alerting and on-call rotation)
• Previous experience on secure development environments is a plus
