C# Application Programmer
Job Description:
ECS is looking for a C# Application Programmer providing support for major national laboratory in Albuquerque, NM!
As a C# Application Programmer, you will be working with the Applied Machine Intelligence department. You will provide IT support to the Applied Machine Intelligence department which produces state-of-the-art technologies and expertise in machine learning, deep learning and research engineering to various customer's organizations. The department works closely with other organizations within customer's facility to apply innovative research to a broad range of disciplines including cyber security, computer vision, digital twins, complex systems, high performance computing and others to support national security efforts.
DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITES/TASKS INCLUDE:
- Design Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) solutions
- Develop Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) prototypes in C#
- Develop Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) solutions for production
- Test solutions
- Attend meetings with customers to understand their requirements
- Attend team meetings to collaborate with solutions
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's in a relevant STEM field plus six (6) years relevant experience; OR equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- Strong software development skills in C#
- At least two (2) years of Unity Engine experience
- At least two (2) years of experience developing AR or VR applications
- Six (6) years of experience in programming
- Experience working in a collaborative environment
- Uncleared local, have a current DOD TS equivalent with ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience with mobile development
- Experience with Git software version control
- Experience with both AR and VR application development
- Experience working in Agile
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments
