Are you a strong communicator? Do you have the drive to learn? Our Data Catalog team is growing and we're looking to add an Application Engineer to own part of our technical platform. In this role you will work with different areas within the business and technical leaders to help support our data needs for our products!

Job Responsibilities

• Own gathering, analysis, validation, and management of solution requirements for the Data Catalog.
• Lead solution development, quality assurance, and release management for the Data Catalog to meet business, user and stakeholder, and solution requirements and leverage vendors/suppliers to deliver.
• Coordinate with the Project Managers, Operations Managers, and Architects.
• Specialized in one application or one module of larger application and/or technical platform.

• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to be a hands-on learner
• Setting and staying on top of multiple priorities.
• Ability to learn and master new applications.
• Familiar with Agile approach.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills. Must be able to collaborate effectively with people from a variety of levels and roles.
• 1-3+ yrs software development skills; familiar with Python and working with API's
