Be part of our exceptional team at our stunning 185-room property, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests enjoy a flawless and memorable stay. As the Hotel Maintenance Technician, you'll be the guardian of our property's functionality and appearance. You'll maintain a welcoming atmosphere, making sure everything operates smoothly, while also supporting our on-site restaurant to create a truly enchanting experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular and thorough inspections of the entire property, taking pride in identifying maintenance needs, safety concerns, and areas for improvement to maintain our high standards.
Bring your expertise to a variety of routine maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing repairs, electrical work, and carpentry, ensuring everything is in perfect working order.
Embrace guest requests for maintenance as opportunities to showcase your skills and provide top-notch solutions, exceeding guest expectations at every turn.
Diagnose and solve issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other equipment, acting swiftly and efficiently.
Maintain and enhance the beauty and functionality of furniture, fixtures, and equipment in guest rooms, common areas, and the restaurant, creating an inviting environment.
Collaborate closely with other departments, including our restaurant, to seamlessly coordinate maintenance efforts, ensuring guests enjoy a disruption-free experience.
Contribute to the implementation of preventive maintenance programs, elevating the longevity and reliability of equipment and facilities.
Keep meticulous records of all maintenance and repair work performed, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.
Champion established safety protocols and guidelines, creating an atmosphere of security for both staff and guests.


Qualifications:
 
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or trade school certification is a plus.
Showcase your demonstrated experience in general maintenance, preferably in hotels, commercial properties, or similar settings. At least 1 year experience strongly preferred.
Share your knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Bring your strong problem-solving skills to our team, working both independently and collaboratively.
Communicate with finesse, maintaining a professional demeanor when interacting with guests, colleagues, and management.
Utilize your physical prowess to handle heavy objects and engage in manual labor, all while maintaining a positive attitude in diverse conditions.
