Description
Summary/Objective:
Our engineers will maintain guest rooms, breakfast area, bar, administrative offices and all other public areas of the property. Team member will be able to provide advanced problem solving and trouble shooting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Assist with primary room preventative maintenance projects as needed.
· PM Service of mechanical and HAVC units.
· Perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs and all hotel equipment, including kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical and guest rooms.
· Assists with major projects as assigned.
· Respond to work orders and communicate with fellow team members on orders that need follow up and/or completion.
· Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times.
· Report any unsafe conditions to leadership.
· Projects assigned as needed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
· 2 years + experience in the hotel maintenance field.
· Previous experience in this capacity or environment a plus.
· Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
· Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized and non-standardized situations.
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
· Should have good interpersonal skills.
· Must have a desire for learning and personal growth.
· Must be able to work independently.
· Must speak and communicate in English.
· Must be able to clearly communicate with guests, management and coworkers.
Physical Demands:
· Ability to lift, move, and/or push up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to perform tasks that require prolonged standing, sitting, repetitive bending, and other physical activities.
Education:
· High school diploma or equal to a GED.
Skills Required
