Job Description:
Summary:
- Assemble rack-mountable cabinet.
- Assemble test equipment into a rack mountable cabinet (up to 50lbs weight on some equipment).
- Assemble electronic modules and assemblies into a test enclosure.
- Solder cables, connectors and interconnect all instruments inside the rack to:
- Power sources (110-220 VAC and 48VDC – safety factor)
- Fiber Optic Cables ( level up to 23 dBm – safety factor)
- Execute test SW programs to verify the tester is assembled correctly.
Safety Training:
- Technician must have knowledge of safety with using assembly tools, soldering irons, electrical connections (DC and AC), fiber optic laser safety, able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Example of Test Racks and equipment to be assembled and tested.
- Min 5 years' experience in hardware installation
