Minimum Qualifications:• Computer Science degree, Computer Engineering degree, or an equivalent engineering degree with three years of industry experience• Strong knowledge of testing IoT devices including knowledge in OS (Linux), at least one software language (Java preferred) and backend protocols communicating to hardware• Excellent knowledge of both embedded and full stack software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and testing tools• Fluent in quality assurance metrics, operations, and statistics• Experience in developing a test plan, assessing risk, detailing defects, and providing relevant data for test reporting• Ability to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolution• Ability to work independently, raise issues and take corrective action• Detail oriented, analytical, and creative thinker with passion for quality processes

Highly Preferred Qualifications:• Experience automating both functional & integration testing of web, Linux, and backend services to exercise an embedded system• Strong working knowledge of shell scripting, and unix command line tools• Ability to use backend communication protocols such as APIs and web services• Knowledge of test automation tools (selenium, junit, javascript, java, groovy)• Knowledge of version control systems such as GIT or similar tools

Responsibilities:
As an Integration Team Engineer you will work upstream in the end-to-end embedded device development and testing cycles with dispenser and hardware development teams, management, and product owners to ensure the functionality of new features and the success of continual platform innovation across the Freestyle fleet of dispensers.
• Partner with development and engineering management to understand dispenser requirements and ensure testability of those designs• Define test coverage, develop test plans, create and maintain test cases, execute both manual and automated functional and performance tests that that successfully identify issues and mitigate risk to the dispenser fleet• Analyze dispenser logs to assist development resources in defect debugging• Leverage and enhance existing test tools to automate testing of physical dispensers• Provide support for innovation projects and engineering prototypes• Grow to be the subject matter expert of the embedded system and the dispenser functionality

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
