Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
Technical Skills:
• Minimum 7 years as a developer with backend experience and server-side frameworks (Java / Spring / Spring Cloud / Hibernate / SpringBoot Microservices)• Familiarity with end-to-end traceability of applications in a microservice architecture• 3+ years of experience working with Cloud environments GCP• Understanding of the best practices in the software engineering and principles utilized in building secure products• Experience with• 12 factor architecture design• Microservices /Rest services / Soap• Spanner, Postgres/ Oracle / MySQL / NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J)• Node.js, React, Backbone or other client-side MVC technologies is a plus• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, JIRA, Nexus, Confluence, GIT, bitbucket, Maven, Gradle, RunDeck, is a plus)• Has strong technical expertise in core java, spring framework (spring boot), JPA, hibernate etc.• Good knowledge of microservice architecture, design patterns, messaging and event driven architecture• Knowledge on Docker Container, Kubernetes• GCP Cloud migration experience in modernization projects• Solid grasp of web and backend application development• Strong written and verbal skills• Strong interpersonal skills as well as strong teamwork and customer support focus• Strong teamwork and customer support focus• Problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills on highly complex problems; technical agility
Nice to have:
• Experience with unit and automation testing (Jasmine, Protractor, Junit, SoapUI)• SRE experience a plus• Client-side JavaScript frameworks (preferably Angular, TypeScript), Node.JS, NPM• GCP certification
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
