Job Description
Job Scope:
- Responsible for electronics design, layout, fabrication, and implementation of interface boards between device and test controller.
- Responsible to design and setup of the electronics hardware of the MAE (PCBA Design).
- Support FPV to achieve ramp up to yield (FPY), cost (IDC) and quality (4Q).
- Implement and support IT Security hardware for all MAE.
Job Task:
- Develop equipment electrical and electronics systems including PCBA design (trace routing, schematic design) within the equipment or fixture setup.
- Review, Evaluate, Debug and Make design improvement to the existing equipment’s’electrical and electronic systems in terms of signal noise ratio, cycle time improvement, EMC and ESD.
- Implement Equipment FMEA in house and actively contribute in Process FMEA.
- Lead in the setting up of equipment for new product introduction.
- Integrate equipment design with product testing by implementing efficient process control parameters, process capability and checklist where necessary for continuous improvements.
- Train and guide process engineers/trainers/supervisors/maintenance engineers on equipment or machine by transferring technical and process Know-How.
- Liaise with maintenance section on maintenance plan & spare parts list for new products.
- Actively support internal defect cost improvement through systematic approach in improving associate competency & lead specific impactful project.
Qualifications
- Degree or Master (preferably) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Possess 3 years and above proven experience in the related field.
- Experience in Electronics hardware design and layout is added advantages.
- Experience in Altium Designer, Siemens EDA and/or LTSpice.
