BGS Commercial Modifications Engineering is seeking a proactive and results-driven Engineering Operations Specialist in Frimley, Surrey to support our Commercial Engineering and leadership teams. We have a collaborative team culture that values initiative, clarity, and measurable results. In this role you will streamline day-to-day operations, develop polished presentations, and support high-impact business initiatives that enable engineering excellence across modification programs.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Track, analyze, and report operational metrics and KPIs to inform leadership decisions and continuous improvement efforts
  • Own development and delivery of concise, data-driven presentations, decision packages, and reports for leadership forums
  • Provide business operational support and engineering management integration to various levels of management.
  • Communicate & coordinate business operations strategy with team located in multiple locations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 7+ years of experience in a Business Operations role, and/or related disciplines
  • 3+ years of experience communicating and implementing business operations strategy with senior and/or executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting engineering or technical organizations in an operations, program support, or business-analysis capacity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to create executive-level presentations and synthesize complex information for diverse audiences
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, influence without authority, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with experience tracking performance metrics and translating data into actionable recommendations
  • High degree of organization, initiative, and professionalism; comfortable managing competing priorities and ambiguous situations
