Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) - Digital Engineering (DE) team is seeking a Senior Engineer Technical Specialist- Engineering Process and Tools Workplace Coach (Mid-Level or Senior) to join our Engineering processes and tools Technical Workplace Coaches (TWC) team in North Charleston, South Carolina.
This position aligns with the Global expansion of services to Engineering and connects with an existing network of Engineering Processes and Tools Subject Matter Experts (SME's) across our U.S. based sites and Global Design Centers. Their efforts ensure full collaboration, knowledge sharing, and effectiveness across the entire engineering value stream.

As a TWC, you will be an expert in transferring and enhancing technical knowledge among our engineering teams around the world. In this collaborative role, you will work closely with development teams, our tool vendors (ie: Dassault Systems, Siemens), support teams across various programs, and engineering functions to identify technical knowledge gaps. You will then create and deliver targeted On-The-Job (OJT) learning solutions that facilitate the real-time adoption and application of enhanced practices.
As a Technical Workplace Coach in Engineering Processes and Tools, you will provide expert guidance and mentorship, ensuring the effective application of engineering processes and tools. Your focus will be on enhancing technical skills, promoting best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within our Engineering organization.

Position Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert to provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to engineering teams on the effective use of engineering processes, tools, and technologies such as CATIA V5, ENOVIA, DELMIA, DMU, 3DX, Teamcenter.
- Develop detailed JobAids type learning solutions
- Assess team capabilities and identify skill gaps, developing tailored training artifacts to address these needs.
- Facilitate workshops and On the Job Training (OJT) sessions to enhance technical knowledge and proficiency in engineering tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders and their teams to align coaching efforts with program/project goals and organizational objectives.
- Promote best practices in engineering processes, ensuring compliance with business standards and regulations.
- Collect, analyze, and validate engineering performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of coaching initiatives, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Test current and updated processes on current and new technologies in support of our major software deployments in Production.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in learning techniques.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of related experience.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and design methodologies and processes.
- Proficient in engineering tools and software, such as CADCAM software, simulation tools, etc.
- Strong project management skills.
- Demonstrated coaching and mentoring skills, with a focus on developing technical competencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a hands-on approach to technical challenges.
- Experience in facilitating technical training sessions and workshops.
- Strong ability to effectively communicate ideas and information through multimedia presentations.
- Proficient in creating engaging presentations using software such as PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 14+ years of related experience.
- Associates degree or higher.
- Experience with Web Design and Development tools such as HTML
- Ability to create, manipulate and present information using a combination of different media formats.
- Proficient at producing video content using software such as Camtasia
