Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end design verification and characterization process for optical transceivers.
- Define and develop test strategies, validation plans, and qualification procedures.
- Hands-on execution of optical and electrical characterization to evaluate transceiver performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive validation coverage.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, assigning tasks and reviewing their results to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Review and analyze test results, troubleshoot performance issues, and provide design feedback
- Work with the NPI team to transfer new products to production.
- Provide application support to customers.
- Occasional traveling may be required.
Key Requirements:
- Master’s degree or above in Electronic Engineering or Applied Physics or equivalent discipline
- At least 8 year of test experience in RF Measurement, Test Strategies and Validation Plans etc
- Extensive experience in the optical transceiver industry and a strong understanding of industry standards.
- Proven hands-on experience in optical and electrical characterization of high-speed transceivers.
- Expertise in using network analyzers, oscilloscopes, BERT, optical spectrum analyzers, and other lab equipment.
- Experience with high-speed optical transceiver modules (e.g., 100G, 400G, 800G, or beyond).
- Strong knowledge of compliance testing (e.g., IEEE, OIF, MSA) and related measurement techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience mentoring or managing junior engineers.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in an R&D and testing environment
- Strong independent problem-solving skills.
- Good command of both English and Chinese.
