Job Summary
The Engineer, Software Test participates in all phases of Software verification and validation testing by performing informal and formal verification tests and providing support to R&D.
Responsibilities
The Engineer, Software Test will execute test protocols using Test Management Software
• Execute Problem Resolution Procedure in JIRA
• Execute test dry runs of test cases and provide feedback to Team Members
• Review and approve minor test case updates
• Perform ad-hoc testing and provide feedback to R&D
• Participate in daily standups
• Assist with software tool qualifications
• Assist with new test development
• Perform and review verification tracing
• Works with close supervised guidance of senior test staff
Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience in the medical device industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in medical device software development and testing.
• Demonstrated technical writing skills
• Demonstrated communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to understand product requirements
