Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional systems engineer for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), the Sentinel weapon system.
This systems engineer will work with a highly skilled team developing and reviewing model-based systems engineering architecture products; namely the engineer will be expected to edit official content in the US Air Force's official MBSE-based Government Reference Architecture, the contractually-binding MBSE model to the Prime Contractor. The candidate is expected to work alongside professional modelers and presenting data and reports to the US Air Force customer. This position will operate in an organizational culture that develops and challenges employees to achieve high performance in a fast-paced, high-morale workplace using streamlined management policies and procedures. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree and 3 years minimum work experience or Master's degree and 2 years minimum work experience in an engineering field at an accredited university or college.

• Demonstrated proficiency with requirements decomposition concepts and tools.
• Demonstrated capacity to edit and review MBSE architecture products using MBSE software like Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.
• Familiarity with relationship traceability in digital architectures.
• Proactive person with a positive attitude and a "team player" mentality.
• Highly organized with acute attention to detail.
• Possess a willingness to learn while also sharing your current knowledge/skills.
• Proactively provides ideas/thoughts.
• Values brainstorming and changing the status quo.
• Possesses both strategic thinking skills and tactical execution skills.

• Must currently possess a Top Secret clearance.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Preference is given to candidates with experience in DoD programs and increased preference with experience in ICBM programs and IBM Rational DOORS.
• Successfully completed coursework in MBSE modeling, e.g., Delligatti SysML.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $88189 - $149922
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
