Job Description

Join CPP Investments as a key contributor in designing and building innovative solutions for portfolio management. Collaborate with diverse teams, including investment professionals, operations, and technology experts, to create impactful software applications using Python, Angular, and Java. Your work will range from server-side enterprise solutions to data-driven reporting and customized applications tailored to our business partners' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to conceptualize, design, and develop new software applications.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications to support Active Equities' portfolio management functions.
• Build, test, and support software components effectively.
• Prepare and document design and program specifications.
• Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure successful project delivery.
• Foster a culture of scalable solution development within predictable time frames.
• Share knowledge with team members and support staff through demos, walkthroughs, and documentation.
• Provide responsive business assistance while adhering to quality enterprise-level software development processes.
• Engage in other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

We welcome candidates from all backgrounds who possess the following:

• A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• A strong interest in capital markets and a desire to contribute to portfolio management systems.
• Familiarity with software development best practices and patterns.
• Experience in Python, or a willingness to learn, along with SQL skills and a passion for staying current with technology.
• Experience with AWS is a plus.
• A commitment to continuous learning and expanding your domain knowledge.
