Job Summary
We are seeking a Engineer - Security Engineering to join our growing team in Kraków. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and managing cybersecurity tools across the enterprise. You will work closely with Cybersecurity, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure our tools are effectively integrated, optimized, and aligned with our security strategy. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who is passionate about technology, problem-solving, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Tool Implementation & Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain cybersecurity technologies (e.g., EDR, CASB, DLP, SIEM, IAM, vulnerability management).
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Cybersecurity operations, architecture, compliance, and IT teams to align tools with business and technical requirements.
- POCs & Development: Participate in proof-of-concepts (POCs) for new security technologies, assist in tool evaluations, and contribute to design and development of integrations and automation.
- SME Role: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned security tools, providing guidance and support across the organization.
- Incident Support: Respond to support tickets, troubleshoot tool issues, and ensure timely resolution to minimize impact.
- Process Improvement: Document processes, build playbooks, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Governance & Reporting: Support audit and compliance requirements by ensuring tools are properly configured, maintained, and monitored.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, operations, or IT security roles.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise security tools (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, EDR, DLP, CASB, vulnerability management).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to respond to incidents in a structured manner.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
- Familiarity with automation, scripting, and integrations (Python, PowerShell, APIs) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC, Microsoft Security, AWS Security, etc.) are desirable.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.
