Job Title : Engineer, Product
Role Overview: The Product Engineer will provide engineering support across assigned product lines, focusing on product design, performance, dimensional analysis, customer problem resolution, and manufacturing support. This role involves close collaboration with Product Managers, Design Engineers, Manufacturing, Quality, Test Engineers, Sales, and Customers, with direction from Engineering and Product Managers. The focus will be on Wafer/Media handling, as well as process and shipping products used in semiconductor fabrication.
Key Responsibilities:

Design Engineering:
Design plastic parts using Creo and Solidworks; validate designs with FAE and flow simulation.
Develop and update product design plans and schedules.
Ensure all stakeholder requirements are met and design documentation is complete and properly released.
Lead Product Design and Design FMEA reviews with the project team.
Regularly communicate product development progress to management.

Product Support:
Lead product and process improvement projects, working with Product Managers, Manufacturing Engineers, and customers on new or derivative product designs.
Support product transfer and sustainment projects, ensuring quality standards are met and products are successfully transferred from engineering to manufacturing.
Assist with customer issue resolution and develop product test plans for performance testing and qualification.
Evaluate new materials and help qualify Entegris products at customer facilities.
Coordinate technical resources and provide support to resolve technical issues as assigned by the manager.

Documentation:
Maintain engineering documentation for existing products.
Ensure adherence to Entegris' Quality System, ISO, and other applicable standards.

Safety & Housekeeping:
Follow safety procedures and wear required protective equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to 6S housekeeping principles.

Accountability:
Contribute to the achievement of new product development goals, including new technologies and platforms, as well as derivative developments.
Ensure timely product qualification and minimize time-to-market for new products.
Work directly with customers to resolve product issues and support their technology roadmaps.
Desired Qualifications & Traits:

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Plastics, or related field), with 5-8 years of experience (8+ years for senior level) in a technical role.
Experience in injection molding part design, tooling, processing, material selection, and assembly processes.
Proficient in product design and development, using 3D CAD systems (e.g., Creo, Pro-E, Solidworks).
Experience with 3D simulation software (e.g., Moldflow, Sigmasoft, FAE) is a plus.
Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and wafer/media handling is advantageous (optional).

Skills:
Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Ability to present technical information to customers and internal stakeholders effectively.
Proficiency in data analysis tools like Minitab and statistical methods for decision-making.
Ability to travel globally for customer visits, product audits, and application support.
Problem-solving expertise, with familiarity in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Competence in standard office software (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Project, Minitab).
