Product Engineer

The Product Engineer is responsible for supporting the development, validation, and continuous improvement of products throughout their lifecycle. This role works closely with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations, to ensure products meet customer requirements, quality standards, and business objectives. The Product Engineer drives technical problem-solving, evaluates engineering changes, and supports new product introductions while identifying opportunities to improve product performance, manufacturability, and cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support product development, validation, and engineering change management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and production readiness.
  • Analyze product performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Investigate product-related issues and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering standards, and quality expectations.
  • Support manufacturing by resolving technical issues and optimizing product designs for manufacturability.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and process improvement activities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders on product-related initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, design engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, DFMEA/PFMEA, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience with CAD software and PLM systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • English proficiency required.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Materials Engineering, or related discipline
  • Experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, design engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Knowledge of DFMEA and PFMEA and problem-solving methodologies
  • Experience with CAD software
  • Experience with PLM systems
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • English proficiency
