Job Description
As a NPI PE, POM Engineering, you will be responsible in working with engineering teams in US and Asia to support product development, factory readiness and Pre-RAMP to get the factory ready to produce in high volume. You will support the program strategy and factory requirements for high volume manufacturing.
You are required to pull multi organizations together to achieve the above objectives and need to have good written and communication skills. Good command in English language is required, as you will be working together with individuals and organizations from multiple countries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Involve cross-functional team to manage Engineering Change at Post-LPR for all Sustaining products related to HDD BOM setup & Shipment Process setup (FW, Label, and Drive ASM drawing) for successful market launch per committed schedule, in order to achieve KPI targets for volume ramp, yield, quality, scrap and cost.
- Coordinate all factory efforts to prepare and supporting Engineering Change implementation at Post-LPR thru End of Life for all Sustaining products. This involves reviewing all change requests, customer requirements, product configuration control, interfacing with other sites to change required support and working out a systematic factory implementation plan.
- Perform related work as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering related field.
- At least 0-2 years in Engineering or related field.
- Work experience in Change Management, Configuration control and BOM-Bill of Material are advantage.
PREFERRED:
- Highly self-motivated and self-directed with demonstrated ability to work well with people; have strong inter-cultural intuition.
SKILLS:
- Proven success leading technical team(s) in previous work experience.
- Strong verbal & written communications skills and presentation skills.
