Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Mission Assurance Engineer / Principal Mission Assurance Engineer to provide on-site support to our Roy, Utah Sentinel Team.

What You’ll Get To Do:
Qualified candidates will support MA functions to ensure mission success
Technical reviews of all Sentinel drawings, SOW’s, Requirements documents as required.
Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of Sentinel achievements.
Assesses Sentinel performance and risks, also determines resources to ensure mission assurance.
Assist the Program Quality Managers (PQM) with all Sentinel Mission Assurance /Program Management requirements.
Support, develop, implement and maintain the Sentinel Program Quality Plans.
Support and facilitate Sentinel program FRBs ensuring identification of root cause and proper implementation of corrective actions and reach back.
Assist PQM in preparation and execution of Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB).
Develop and maintain Sentinel Program Metrics. Assist in the preparation of the Program Management Program Review packages.
Support PQM with Sentinel Customer Corrective Action Requests. Support IPT MA & QE in Conditional Acceptance requirements and flow down.
Monitor timely closure of Conditionally Accepted hardware and work corrective actions with IPT MA & QEs

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
You'll bring these qualifications:
Mission Assurance Engineer: Bachelors of Science degree with 2 years of experience OR a Masters OR a PhD.
Principal Mission Assurance Engineer: Bachelors of Science degree with 5 years of experience OR a Masters with 3 years of experience OR a PhD with 1 year of experience.
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance awarded or reviewed in the last 6 years, with ability to obtain PAR
Experience with quality management systems to support program processes, audits, and/or improvements.
Experience with manufacturing and quality assurance processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines with attention to detail.
Experience with Mission Assurance Engineering and Quality Engineering practices or Manufacturing floor experience including inspections.
Technical reviews of drawings, Statement of work, and requirements traceability documents.
Experience in processing, monitoring, data collection, analysis, and metric reporting for overall program and segments
Experience with manufacturing, quality controls, inspection and/or non-conformance controls.
Test experience with writing test procedures and executing test plans.
Skills Required
- B.S. with 2 years experience OR M.S. OR PhD (for Mission Assurance Engineer)
- B.S. with 5 years experience OR M.S. with 3 years OR PhD with 1 year (for Principal Mission Assurance Engineer)
