- Follow-up & Report on new patent publications from third parties
- Monthly report on new patent publications, ranked by Product Lines / technical fields, relevance, etc...
- Follow-up of the R&D new projects (Planning – Prior art searches)
- IP landscaping to identify technological/IP trend
- Build regular IP landscape report on selected topic, in relation with R&D/R&I needs, help understanding competitors R&D strategy
- Searching patent database to detect technological trends, whitespace and region of monopole
- Prior art searches
- Realising prior art searches e. g. for patent clearances, patentability studies, patent mappings in cooperation with R&D
- Training people (Project team members, …) to search tools and methods
- Optimizing search tools
- Developing tools to retrieve previous searches
- Developping an advanced knowledge of competitors patents within PG perimeter
- Prior Art database (if any)
- Management of a customised database containing all the patents related to the BG or PG or R&I activities,
- Developing tools to permit an easy retrieval of patents according to certain criteria;
- Monitoring with technical experts the indexation of patents in the database and putting some additional information for each of them;
- Managing access to the database (restricted access to added information, i.e. non public);
