Main Responsibilities
  • Performs basic product design, testing and/or analysis work for a defined portion of a project. Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews. Develops recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation.

What Skills You Need
  • Produces and/or evaluates possible design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications. This may include possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel.
  • Proposing structural component and mechanism designs to meet Project Requirements and creating accurate and functional CAD models.
  • Leading CAD model preparation for virtual validation (FEA, CFD, Etc.), coordinating reviews with the analysis teams and proposing design solutions to ensure optimized designs.
  • Compiles and furnishes necessary information (engineering decisions and reports of pertinent design analyses data) to document the design solution required for building of prototypes and adoption of the design with possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel.
  • Orders experimental Parts through internal Acquisition Service.
  • Works together with manufacturing and customer support to fulfill customer needs.
  • Creates Work instructions for Experimental Builds.
  • Works together with senior engineers to define and document test plans.
  • Documents and proposes solutions to field issues.
  • Change implementation in the factory and Part Lifecycle Management.
  • Drafting and print creation using GD&T.
  • Analyzes assignments and determines engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for complex problems or projects of moderate scope.

  • Mechanical Design Skills (Structural Design, Mechanics of materials, Mechanism Design/ Analysis).

  • Fluent in English

Education
  • B.S Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
