Job Description
As a Locomotion & Animation Engineer, you will be responsible for extending and maintaining the code of Unreal Engine locomotion and animation technology, tools, and pipelines (including CDPR extensions to these areas). We seek a talented engineer to develop movement modes for our characters with high quality and fidelity for the big open-world game.
Working closely with the designers, character artists, animators, and other gameplay engineers you should have a positive attitude and skills to cooperate in an interdisciplinary team effectively. You will have the opportunity to develop stunning locomotion & animation features for our games. If you can communicate with people as efficiently as you do with your computer, join us!
Daily responsibilities
- Developing locomotion and animation systems and/or extensions to these systems.
- Developing gameplay mechanics related to locomotion and animation.
- Collaborating with other engineers, designers, animators and other developers contributing to team work daily basis.
- Writing readable, high quality, efficient C++ code.
- Maintaining, debugging, profiling and bug fixing code to achieve the best quality and performance.
- Documenting code and work, creating debug tools for other developers, creating tests to cover existing functionality.
Qualifications
- Practical knowledge of game locomotion & animation systems (designs & patterns).
- Knowledge of modern game animation systems architecture.
- Deep knowledge of C++.
- Math & algorithmic skills.
- Good & practical knowledge of code parallelization.
- Good spirit and team player approach with solid communication skills.
- Fluent English.
Nice to have
- Good knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 environment - especially features and systems related to locomotion and animation areas.
- Knowledge of motion-matching technology.
- 3+ years experience in game dev industry.
- Experience in creating a AAA title for game consoles, debugging and profiling these games in console environment.
- Demanding attitude towards themselves and other coworkers focused on delivering the best results.

What We Do
