Reports to Manufacturing - Regional Senior Director.
What you'll be doing:
- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes
- Conduct process simulations and modeling to evaluate efficiency and performance
- Develop and implement process control strategies to ensure product consistency and quality
- Collaborate with Global Technology to support the development of new products and technologies
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations
- Prepare technical documentation, including process flows, specifications, and reports
- Responsible for managing, planning, and tracking the execution of assigned projects, capital projects, and productivity projects in their respective region
- Provides required training to plant personnel after completion of project
- Maintain close contact with Regional Field Engineer and others to efficiently coordinate jobs and utilize available manpower
- Good communications skills both oral and written, including computers skills such as Excel, Word and Power Point
- Travel is required, 50-75%, to CPP branch plants, machinery builders, and customer locations as required by project assignments.
The ideal candidate for this position will be located in Dallas, TX or Tulsa, OK.
We'd love to hear from you if:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the paper or packaging industry
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and lean principles
- Strong mechanical aptitude and skills, such as fabrication, machining, assembly, troubleshooting and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communications skills both oral and written, including computers skills such as Excel, Word and Power Point
- Experience with AutoCad and or Solidworks for plant layout and details drawings
- Experience with MS Project, working with Gantt charts, developing timelines, milestones, and deadlines
- Strong safety record to promote safety in all aspects of employment
- Exercises good judgment / decision-making and presents a commitment to high standards and the ability to inspire those qualities in others
- Leadership - provides mentoring, training and supervision to maintenance and plant personnel in project work
- Eager to learn and apply new skills and as such, identifies training needs and skills required to stay up to date with new technology
- Ability to work alone with limited supervision
Compensation:
The annual base salary range for this role is from $100,560 to $113,130, plus annual target bonus of 7.5% of base salary.
