SUMMARY:
To properly repair and maintain the physical asset and provide general leadership and support for Mechanic I & II team workers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; extreme cold and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Receive daily work assignments from Chief Engineer and review priorities and special projects.
- Organize materials, tools and equipment to perform daily assignments.
- Maintain for the proper use, cleaning, maintenance and storage of all tools and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work areas.
- Handle chemicals according to hotel requirements.
- Ensure security of any assigned keys and beeper.
- Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
- Complete all paperwork and closing duties before leaving and review status of assignments and any follow-up with Chief Engineer.
- Assist with any special projects assigned.

Skills Required
