Write the next chapter of your career in an authentic Palm Beach paradise.The Engineer III is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the resort, with a primary focus on pool, spa, and fountain operations. This role supports the Engineering team in maintaining building systems, responding to guest service requests, and ensuring all equipment and facilities are operating at peak performance. This position is part of the Engineering team and reports to Engineering Leadership.
What you will do:Perform preventative maintenance on pool, spa, and fountain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
Monitor and maintain proper chemical levels in pools, spas, and water features, conducting required testing and inspections
Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas
Assist with the maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, fire & life safety, and mechanical systems
Respond to emergency situations, including equipment failures, water contamination, chemical imbalances, leaks, and other operational issues
Maintain cleanliness and organization of engineering storage areas, pump rooms, and chemical storage locations
Support installation, relocation, and maintenance of resort equipment and building systems
Assist with renovation projects and equipment upgrades as needed
Support energy conservation and sustainability initiatives throughout the property
Operate forklifts and other equipment safely when required
Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to support resort operations
Comply with Four Seasons standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Minimum of one year of experience in hospitality engineering, building maintenance, or a related field preferred
Basic knowledge of general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
Ability to obtain Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification within 12 months of hire
Ability to operate computer systems and maintenance-related equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Willingness to learn and develop technical skills through hands-on experience and professional certifications
Desire to grow within the Engineering department and advance into future Engineering roles
