We are looking for a team-oriented design engineer with Oklahoma DOT, Oklahoma Turnpike Authority and/or local municipal transportation design experience who is knowledgeable in Bentley design software. While the primary focus will be on local and statewide highway and transportation projects, the candidate will have the opportunity to support other disciplines and projects through our Central States Office and firmwide transportation practice. What You'll Do:

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.
• Assist in the development of project specifications.
• Responsible for development of discipline specific engineering project elements/deliverables such as reports, designs, and plans.
• Aids in the coordination and productivity of project team members.
• Provides technical guidance to less experienced engineering project team members.
• Works closely with other disciplines and on multi-discipline projects.
• Performs quality control reviews of discipline - specific engineering project elements/deliverables.
• Assists with coordination and planning of schedules, hours, and distribution of work within discipline.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree in Engineering and 3 year of relevant experience, or
• PhD in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience

What You'll Bring:

• Perform design calculations, geometric design, modeling and plan production of roadway, temporary traffic control plans, signing and striping plans, quantities, Engineer’s estimates and final specifications
• Utilize Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, and/or InRoads to complete engineering design and 3D models.
• Provide complete design efforts with direction from and in coordination with an experienced engineering design team .
• Review and check engineering work completed by others
• Follow and achieve project scope, schedule and budget in accordance with quality procedures

What We Prefer:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• ODOT, OTA and/or local municipal transportation experience
• Bentley software experience – Bentley OpenRoads and/or Concept Station a plus
• Bluebeam Revu experience a plus
• Active engagement in local professional and/or civic organization
