Job Purpose
As an experienced Process Engineer performs tasks requiring the selection and application of a range of standard technical problem technical problem solving techniques, monitoring and analysis.
Job SummaryAs an experienced Process Engineer, undertakes assignments of varying scope and complexity involving a range of standard technical problem solving techniques and computational methods, assisting more senior professionals who will at all times provide some supervision and guidance based on detailed work review.
CertificationsWorking towards Chartered/Professional Engineer qualification or membership
Job Responsibilities1.Maintains high HSE standards and seeks to ensure a healthy, safe work environment and working practices at all times
2.Validates standard internal and 3rd party Process design work for conformance with established standards and procedures.
3.Reviews and evaluates technical bid proposals for engineering work, evaluates and reports conclusions, noting bid deviations
4.Escalates emerging and complex plant issues to more senior engineers to ensure action is taken to resolve on a timely basis.
5.Participates in projects; aligns tasks to project schedules/plans ensuring delivery within time ,cost and quality constraints.
6.Reviews and analyses relevant plant, process and engineering data and recommends changes required to optimize operations.
7.Provides guidance and support to help more junior team members.
9.Carries out conventional engineering tasks requiring broad application of engineering knowledge, regulations and standards.
Develops a range of engineering plans and supporting documentation seeking guidance from senior level engineers as required.

- Working towards Chartered/Professional Engineer qualification or membership
- Proficiency in Chemical Engineering
- Statistical analysis and measurement skills
- Operations support services experience
- Experience validating process design and reviewing technical bid proposals
- Experience analyzing plant/process engineering data to recommend optimizations
- High HSE awareness and ability to maintain safety standards
