Project Execution
A Day in the Life:
Our Project Execution team is committed to safely and consistently deliver capital projects on time and on budget, while meeting our quality expectations to improve our market effectiveness. Being responsible stewards of the land and environment is vital to our success. As an engineer supporting our Gathering & Processing (G&P) Growth projects, some of the work you will be doing includes:

Estimating costs for new well connects, gas pipelines, gathering compression, and meter stations including labor, material, equipment, contractor and subcontractor costs for projects;
-
Collaborating with project and business development, system planning, engineering, operations and commercial to scope and estimate facilities for tactical growth and large expansion projects
-
Partnering with internal and external partners to discuss project scope and associated costs; seeks feedback and projects consensus to determine optimal set of project facilities
-
Communicating with vendors, suppliers and other contractors to seek cost/budgetary data to support project cost estimates
-
Creating preliminary pipeline routing and mapping using GIS applications
-
Working with internal SME's and stakeholders to develop hydrostatic test plans, weld procedures, equipment specifications, and drawings to facilitate installations that fully comply with WIMS standards

Working with both internal and external engineering, drafting, surveying, and permitting resources to develop issue-for-bid and issue-for-construction scope of work packages.

Working independently on large-sized projects/technical assignments supporting the organization

Providing technical recommendations in the design, construction, and modification of electrical systems at new and existing facilities

Identifying project roadblocks and formulating solutions to overcome problems

Supervising the work of others

Education/Years of Experience:
-
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum four (4) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
Other Requirements:

Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills

Proficiency in engineering specialties covering more than one subject area

Preferred: Project Management experience
