Job Description Summary

Donaldson is multinational company providing filtration solutions for customers in many regions. This role is responsible for daily activities as liaison to our joint venture manufacturing plant in Indonesia mainly for engine air, lube, fuel and mobile hydraulic filtrations. You will work with stakeholders to support on end-to-end product lifecycle management (PLM) from ideation until retirement, and maintain extensive collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Quality teams to have the deliverables being timely achieved as per expected requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for Donaldson international entities to develop new products out of Indonesia plant, interpreting customer needs shared by product management, inside sales, engineering, or project management team to translate customer requirements into effective product strategies.
• Contribute to extend organization’s product coverage by supporting global teams with activities to request for quote, price negotiation, information distribution, prototyping, validation related materials, and any other needs for product launch.
• Conduct extensive liaises to follow up and update on progress in all phases of product development.
• Work independently with teams within manufacturing plant to ensure current manufacturability able to fulfill customer demands, to gather necessary information from plant engineering, quality, and operations as helpful references for any incoming queries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships within Donaldson and any related parties.
• Support on all phases of existing product management, to work closely with cross functional teams in different regions on change orders, product improvement proposals, cost reduction projects, or any types of projects being implemented properly covering minimum acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with quality and supply chain team to resolve product related issues from customer site.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or its equivalent, with at least 3 years' work experience in supporting new product development,
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills are MUST,
• Ability to work on managing multiple projects independently with minimum supervision to implement well-managed priorities,
• Proven track record to build relationships and effective communications with cross functional teams and stakeholders,
• Good computer literacy, tech-savvy, and understands technical CAD drawings

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiar with engine air, fuel, lube or mobile hydraulic filtration products is highly preferred
• Experience in liaison role in multinational company
• Excellent presentation skills
• Familiar with project management framework
