As an Engineer II in the Mobile Solutions Aftermarket group with Donaldson Company, you will be part of a team designing filtration solutions for on and off-highway customers in a wide variety of mobile applications. In this role, you will partner closely with manufacturing, procurement, product management, and other cross functional teams to develop solutions. This role encompasses the full catalog of mobile solutions product including air, fuel, lube, and hydraulic filtration solutions.
While hybrid work model, this position will be based out of Bloomington, MN.
Role Responsibilities:
Manage simple, moderate, and complex design projects through established processes and procedures.
Recognize customer input and translating into new products, applications, and technologies that provide value.
Clearly and concisely communicate technical results through drawings, specifications, standards, reports, and other forms for internal and external customers.
Use your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to advance engineering projects.
Develop and document test plans and validate designs using established procedures
Interface with product management, procurement, and manufacturing engineers to ensure successful launch of new product
Collaborate with team members to provide and receive input on new designs
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Minimum 2+ years related professional engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated project management skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments at any given time.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
Filtration knowledge/experience.
Travel: Ability to travel 15%
Annual Salary Range: $71,900 - $91,700. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance.
