Job Duties and Responsibilities
Engineer II - Wireless sought by DISH Wireless L.L.C. in Plano, TX
Develop high-volume, low-latency, data-driven solutions utilizing current and next generation technologies to meet evolving business needs. Acquire big data input from numerous partners utilizing Python, Elastic, Prometheus, and Kafka. Normalize complicated data sources to convert potentially unusable data into a format that can be efficiently used by software and employees utilizing Spark, Nifi, and Lambda. Build a CI/CD pipeline for our data software to ensure high-quality and time to market low utilizing Gitlab. Extract Datasets from various layers of the platform architecture. Review data for quality and schema integrity using Python and Shell Scripting. Finalize data Pipeline Code as contained Co De Artifacts and Resultant Datasets Will Be Delivered To End Points Or Storage. Integrate Data Objects Into Datadog By Mapping Data Values To Searchable Indexes.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field plus 2 years of experience in job offered or as Systems Engineer. Also requires 2 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
- Data streaming technologies such as Kafka
- ETL concepts
- Querying and designing databases using one or more of the following: MySQL, Oracle SQL, Python, ServiceNow, SecureCRT, or Wireshark
- Spark, Nifi, and Lambda
- Gitlab, Python, Shell, Elastic, and Prometheus.
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $128,750.00/Year
