Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning
- Writes, maintains, and executes automated and manual test cases that validate functional, non‑functional, and regression scenarios.
- Logs, tracks, and retests defects in Jira/Azure DevOps, ensuring clear repro steps and impact statements.
Test Automation
- Develops and extends test automation scripts in tools such as Katalon, Selenium, Playwright.
- Builds data‑driven and behavior‑driven tests leveraging frameworks like SpecFlow or Cucumber.
- Supports continuous integration pipelines by integrating automation suites and monitoring test health.
- Creates and maintains SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
Quality Metrics & Reporting
- Contributes to test reporting dashboards that surface coverage, pass/fail trends, and defect metrics.
- Contribute to root‑cause analysis sessions for escaped defects and champion preventive actions.
- Maintain meticulous documentation for all testing activities to ensure auditability and knowledge retention.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in software quality engineering with a focus on automation for web and API‑based applications.
- Proficiency in C#/.NET Core, test frameworks (Katalon/Selenium/Playwright/SpecFlow), and API testing tools (Postman/Jmeter).
- Working knowledge of RESTful API testing with Postman, or similar libraries.
- Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) to execute automated tests.
- Strong SQL skills and experience validating data across relational and NoSQL stores.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and scale automation frameworks in a collaborative, Agile environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to articulate complex quality risks and solutions.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
