Summary
As a specialist in aviation quality management, the Engineer will function as part of the Scoot SSQ department. This position will assist Assistant Manager, Quality (Quality Management System), in developing and maintaining an effective Quality Management System (QMS) with Scoot's Operational Departments to ensure the delivery of operational quality for customers.Job Description
Engineer, Quality's responsibilities and deliverables include:
- Coordinate local and foreign authority audits and inspections to ensure AOC compliance.
- Monitor and disseminate local and foreign regulatory updates to operational departments.
- Maintain ANR internal compliance system for continuous compliance and participate in internal audits for operational departments in accordance with QMS and ANR.
- Prepare and facilitate CAAS Quarterly Audits, CAAS Mid-Term Audits, AOC Renewal Audits and closure of audit findings.
- Facilitate the biennial Risk-Based IOSA Audit and closure of audit findings.
- Update and maintain audit surveillance matrices such as the Master Audit Register, COQMR, QMR and ASC reporting data sheets.
- Update the status and details of authority audits and inspections during internal review meetings such as OCM and ASC.
- Manage Scoot's internal audit programme with internal operational departments.
- Review and approve internal auditors under QMS for operation departments.
- Update quality manual and documentation to ensure compliance with current regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain hazard register for the Quality Division.
- Conduct Trend Analysis on authority-issued/internal-issued findings to identify operational and compliance gaps, support Risk based audit schedule programme development.
- Annual review and continuous improvement: Frequent review of risk ratings and audit priorities based on performance and changes in operations.
- Facilitating the transition of DMS to an integrated and full-service solution for all operational BUs – Comply365 (Projects).
Job Requirements:
- Degree in engineering, mechanical, aeronautical or related field.
- At least 3 years working experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Tableau, or any other analytical and audit management tools.
- Able to travel for work.
