Job Summary:

  • Ensure that all Quality Management program is maintained and followed by manufacturing.
  • Handles the review of Process and Test changes.
  • Responsible for the review of manufacturing Quality issues, involvement on problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitates 8D review and implement Preventive and Corrective Action.
  • Reports update on all Quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality engineer responsible for complaint management for internal customer satisfaction related to the quality indices of line disturbances, OSAT and fab quality.
  • Lead and prepare comprehensive 8D report for assigned customer complaints.
  • Utilize problem solving methodologies 8D, 5Why, Failure Tree Analysis (FTA), Fish Bone Diagram, FMEA etc. in handling internal excursion issue and customer complaint.
  • Root cause identification according to 5Why principles (Occurrence, Escapee and Systematic root causes).
  • Drive internal support for customer complaint and lead team composing of multi departments in driving for clear Problem statement, Root cause identification, Containment action, Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions.
  • Analysis of customer complaint and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Sharing and presenting to customers during customer audits and visits.
  • Moderate FMEA & risk assessment are completely assessed for new tool/process release.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physics / Electronics Engineering / Material/ Chemical Engineering / Applied Science.
  • Work experience related to test manufacturing process
  • Engineering function for 1-2 years
  • Knowledge on Quality Audit, FMEA, 8D principles and IATF16949
  • Knowledge on Wafer Fab/Sort, Assembly, Final Test, and Finishing Processes
  • Can interact with high level management
  • Computer literate
