What you will be doing

Configure and Setup Network Appliances for access to business applications.

Manage day-to-day network configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Network devices.

Maintaining multi-site network operations over both private and public infrastructure. Manage day-to-day running of Cencora international VPNs connecting over 250 locations together with site-to-site hardware VPN.

Researching, analyzing, evaluating and monitoring network infrastructure to ensure networks are configured to operate at optimal performance.

Assessing and recommending improvements to network operations and integrated hardware, software, communications and operating systems.

Setup and configure wireless network that supports communications to internal and external sources.

Suggests recommended configuration changes to preventive and detective security controls.

What your background should look like

Hands-on knowledge of IT service delivery operations.
-
Experienced knowledge of network and control frameworks and standards.
-
Experience working with cross-functional IT teams.
-
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Vendor certifications such as CompTIA, Checkpoint, Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba are a big plus.

Good understanding of IT operations and infrastructure management.
-
Experience in hosted or cloud-based systems.
-
Hands-on experience with MPLS, EDGE, IOS, BGP, Infoblox, and various authentication schemes and protocols is an advantage.

Hands-on knowledge of managing wireless access points is a big advantage.

Good interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to successfully interact with team members and Cencora IT service delivery teams.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree/certificate in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

Typically requires 5 or more years of relevant IT work experience.

Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of a broad range of hardware and software products.
