Responsibilities:
Core responsibilities include developing software and firmware to enable applications to use force sensors. Code algorithms to process sensor data. Familiarity with math methods, using python NumPy to implement polynomial and piece-wise linear data fittings, interpolations, classifications and data distribution analysis, low/high/band pass and median filters.
Work together with mechanical and electrical teams to implement customer solutions.
This position offers the chance to collaborate with MEMS and CMOS designers, contributing to continuous improvements across our product portfolio. This is a fast-paced role requiring engineers who are eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Design and Development (20%): Propose and implement innovative solutions for customers particularly in mechanical, electrical, software integration and algorithm development;
Customer Support and Engagement (35%): Manage customer evaluation kits and sensor modules design and fabrication; promote cutting-edge HMI sensor solution; provide multidisciplinary technical support (hardware, firmware and mechanical) to customers from concept to mass production.
Test and Characterization (15%): Work closely with US team on sensor-level and system-level test and characterization; conduct competitor analysis.
Technical Documentation and Training (15%): Provide product training to customers, sales and FAEs; create technical documentation including reference design, application notes, and white papers.
Collaboration (10%): Collect customer feedback and requests, liaise with marketing and R&D to drive continuous improvements, shape roadmaps, and develop new technologies.
Industry engagement (5%): Stay current with the latest advancements in consumer electronics and related industries.
Minimum Qualifications:
2–3 years of hands-on experience on software development.
Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related field is required.
Coding in C/C++ and Python
Desired Qualifications
Familiarity with Android and Linux OS as well as embedded MCU RTOS run-time environment.
Familiarity with I2C and USB protocols.
Algorithm development in Python, NumPy, C.
Experience with AI enabled tools such as VSCode with Git Copilot.
Experience in Semiconductor and Automotive.
