1 - First ShiftJob Summary
Are you the type of person who is passionate about solving problems with well-designed, maintainable software? In this role, you will build machine-centered applications that are highly tested and align with solid coding standards. We’re looking for team members with strong technical skills who can work cross-functionally within an agile development team.What You’ll Do
1. Assist in delivering value to customers by designing and delivering software and solutions using accepted programming techniques and standards such as pair programming and Test Driven Development.
2. Assist in maintaining all necessary CI/CD steps to deliver changes with high confidence of quality and streamlined effort.
3. Collaborate with other developers and engineers (either internal or external) using techniques like pair programming, developer community events, or mob sessions.
4. Assist in creating and maintaining all necessary application and program documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of C#, HTML, Typescript/Javascript, and C/C++ is required.
- Basic understanding of developing, deploying, debugging, and/or consuming cloud applications and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of scripting languages and data serialization formats, including PowerShell, Python, Bash, JSON, and YAML.
- Familiar with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), source code version control tools (such as Git, Azure Repo), and distribution pipeline to deploy applications.
- Exposure to one or more operating systems, such as RTOS, Ubuntu, Android, and iOS.
- Knowledge of unit and End-to-End software testing.
- Desire to learn about key cloud components and key features of cloud service providers.
- Awareness of Agile software development methodologies
Travel
- Occasional travel is expected of this position.
Work Location
REMOTE: A team member’s day-to-day work may be best completed from a location other than a Vermeer campus. There will be instances where the work requires time spent on a Vermeer campus.
