Job Description:

- Monitor and optimize etch tool performance
- Correlate inline process monitors to parametric measurements
- Establish and document equipment and process operating specifications
- Develop OCAPS for all processes
- Design, coordinate, and perform experiments to develop new processes and improve manufacturing techniques
- Participate in team activities to solve process and device problems
- Participate in team activities to reduce variation in all critical processes. Own and maintain data associated with monitoring and controlling processes in Poly/Nit area.
- Provide training and technical direction to support personnel. Provide background documentation and training to next generation engineer.
- Analyze, summarize, and integrate project results with other project members
- Apply planning and problem-solving tools such as PFMEA, fault tree analysis, event tree analysis, 8D, Is/Is-Not, and fishbone in team settings
- Provide disposition to affected processes, tools, and lots when necessary
- Communicate regularly with management and other functional groups within Microchip to ensure understanding of needs/problems in relation to the process engineering function. Prepare and present reports to management
- Interact with other technical groups throughout Microchip and elsewhere to exchange technical information and remain abreast of new developments in the field
- Planning and execution of technical projects
Requirements/Qualifications:
Required Skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze scientific and technical journals and technical procedures
- Effectively present information to management, public groups, and employees

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70-110k.**Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
