Job Description:
The Mechanical Design Engineer will assist the team in the design and development of atomic clocks. This role offers exciting opportunities of growth within the Engineering department, eventually leading design projects. Responsibilities of this role include creation and update of designs and documentation using SolidWorks, design and release of fixtures, and creation of Engineering Change Orders. Knowledge of Material Sciences a plus.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Creation and update of SolidWorks models, Bill-of-Materials, Fabrication/Assembly Drawings, and Test/Assembly Procedures
- Design and document fixtures for engineering and production use
- Assist in the upkeep of the CircuitWorks Component Library
- Create SolidWorks Assembly Files of PCB Assemblies using files provided by the Design Team
- Contact vendors/manufacturers for quotes on fabricated/custom parts
Qualifications:
- US Person
- BS or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Desired Experience:
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Experience using SolidWorks
- Knowledge of Materials and Material Science
- Knowledge of Machining/Manufacturing processes
- Experience using simulation applications such as ANSYS

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70,304-$143,000.**Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
