Job Description:
We are seeking an Engineer I to support and enhance our cloud-first infrastructure, focusing on AWS, Azure, and Windows Server environments. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in systems administration and a strong interest in cloud engineering and automation.Key Responsibilities- Administer and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, VPC, Route53, IAM, and related services.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Monitor system performance and availability using tools such as Amazon CloudWatch and Dynatrace.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues in accordance with SLA commitments.
- Support application deployment and integration across infrastructure platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure, scalable, and resilient solutions.
- Manage identity and access using Okta, Azure AD, and SSO integrations.
- Maintain system documentation and provide training to peers on new or modified systems.
- Research and recommend improvements to infrastructure architecture and operations.
- Participate in the design and implementation of automation scripts and tools to streamline operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience in systems administration or cloud operations.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (required) and Azure (preferred) services.
- Experience with Windows Server administration and automation scripting.
- Experience with identity platforms such as Okta and Azure AD.
- Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools like CloudWatch and Dynatrace.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, HTTP/S, SMTP, LDAP).
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or equivalent.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
CCNA or other relevant networking certifications
