Engineer (Fill Finish)

You will be a member of the Engineering team and report to the Senior Manager, Process Engineering at the Holly Springs site. Benefits Include Outdoor Amenities, Onsite Café, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K with a 6% match, and PTO available from your first day of hire.

Responsibilities:

• Be a subject matter expert (SME) for Automated Visual Inspection (AVI), Labelling, and Packaging
• Troubleshoot complex equipment related issues and develop sound engineering solutions to address identified problems for assigned systems
• Support deviation investigations to ensure identification of root cause and corrective actions. Own equipment-related corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Work with equipment vendors to provide controls solutions to PLC controlled systems, equipment design modifications and to spec new equipment as dictated by ongoing reliability analyses or other requirements
• Develop change controls for equipment modifications, collaborating with the cross-functional team required for complete delivery
• Provide engineering support for the technology transfer of new products into existing manufacturing operations within Holly Springs or globally as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing or equivalent industry preferred.
• 3+ years' experience with Fill Finish equipment
• Knowledge of visual inspection and packaging equipment and processes.
• Experience with work orders, change management, deviation and CAPA systems preferred.
• Understanding of operating languages and software controlled equipment required.
• Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility
